About
ABOUT
Anne Stooker (Utrecht, 1984 NL) graduated in 2006 from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. She lives and works in Amsterdam and illustrates books, newspapers and magazines. Summing up a complex story in an apparently simple watercolour is what Anne’s work is known for. Every week her small illustrations appear alongside big stories in newspapers and magazines, such as the column ‘Die ene melding’ (That one call) in Dutch newspaper the Volkskrant. Her work has appeared in various national and international publications including Het Parool and ELLE Denmark. Anne’s work has been displayed and acquired by different museums including the Stedelijk Museum Breda and Museum Prinsenhof.
